So it's all downhill from Tennessee Pass. Alabama sure had some good rollers!

We hit a section of road described in the routebook as busy with logging trucks, and boy was it. Michael and I were crewing together at this point, following Terry. Last year the three of us were on a tour together heading toward Mt Shasta. This road seemed similar, big rollers and lots of logging trucks, so we asked Terry if he could see Mt Shasta off in the distance.

Once we passed the paper mill, we announced to Terry that this was the end of the logging trucks. A few seconds later, we told him to watch out for paper trucks!

Ah, toilets on RAAM - a luxury.

We had at least two crew members at the start who had never peed outside. By the end, we had one. Chris had finally experienced the pleasure of nature - although she passed on this particular outdoor toilet!

Sleep whenever you can!

And finally the Florida state line sign!
