The
Tour of the Battenkill was John's first road race since returning
to the US. My how time flies! John has done a bunch of hillclimb
races, but just hadn't had much time or interest in road racing.
The event peaked his interest because it had lots of dirt roads
and some spectacular scenery. For race day, I mapped out a route
for myself that stayed off the course, but covered roads inside
the loop.
