We didn't even charge David for the Blayley training
camp for climbers! And he got several bonus climbing opportunities,
and John sent him back down the road on several ocassions for
a photo!
We brought single bikes for each of us as well
as the tandem. Sadly the brakes on Pamela's single bike decided
not to co-operate, so we spent a bit more time on the tandem.
We stayed in Waitsfield for the race. The next
day, we decided to check out a ride recommended by a friend starting
from the Red
Hen Baking Company. The coffee and food at the cafe were great,
as was the ride.
