Beating a Dead Horse

The 10 mile climb from 4000 feet to 4500 feet gained several thousand feet of elevation, as we rolled up and down and up and down. We felt like dead horses when we finally reached THE Summit.

 

The Road to Mt Shasta

is straight, but continues to roll up and down and up and down, and seems to be owned by logging trucks. While the scenry was beautiful, the truckers were not at all welcoming. We will not go back, at least not on this road..
